Application Fee Waiver (View Instructions)EKHS students are eligible for fee waivers due to free & reduced lunch.
1. Click the "Fee Waiver Document" below 2. Select "Open with" 3. Select "Connect more apps" 4. Search and select 'Annotate with Kami' 5. To add information onto the fee waiver, select the "Text Box" and "Drawing" button. Once complete, download the fee waiver and attach it an email to [email protected] or [email protected] |

Sending Transcripts
SAT/ACT TestingEvery student at EKHS is eligible for SAT fee waivers. Email your school counselor for a fee waiver code. Most institutions are not requiring students to submit their test scores. However, students who do submit their test scores have additional opportunities to receive scholarships. SAT Testing Essays & Letters of Recommendation and EssaysIf you plan to apply to two or more colleges that require an essay an letter(s) of recommendation(s), it may be helpful to utilize the Common Application.
Important note: The senior survey is a great writing prompt for application and scholarship essays. The EKHS Guidance Counselors sent out a senior survey at the beginning of September. Ask someone to review your essay or have it reviewed at Getschooled.com.

Common AppThe Common App enables students to apply to several schools nationwide at one time. Recommended for students applying to schools that require an essay or letter(s) of recommendation. Common Application Help Guide HBCU Common ApplicationHBCU stands for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. These schools were originally founded to serve the African American community. HBCUs celebrate African American history and culture, and cultivate success. Historically, these schools have housed close relationships and a tight community. HBCUs offer all students, regardless of race, an opportunity to develop their skills and talents.
